Staff application question

Before I ask I would like to clarify i wont be applying for a few weeks. I was looking over the application and was wondering this 1 thing. Why do you need 100 forum posts anyway? the forum at the moment barely has 50 in total. Just curious, ill do it if necessary but personally not seeing point of it, or why it's that many.

Well the posts to become mod is 50. and the posts to become Admin is 100.
I put them this high so i know that the people who want to become staff are willing to dedicate time to the server as well as the forums.
This is the time of the forum where people begin posting little by little until they build up to the required amount of posts. No one wants someone becoming Mod in a Day

I have 22 posts and i'm the top poster on forums. I still think 100 doesn't make sense. I would understand if someone on here like an admin had like 80 posts or something like that.

I'm not currently seriously looking for new Staff Members. I need to make sure the Server is Fool-Proof first and that Forums become more active.
I'll be keeping the # of required Forum posts the same, for the same reason.
